About
Jesus called his followers 'friends'. What do friends do? They enjoy getting together, sharing life's ups and downs together, and having fun together.
So that's what we do too, because Jesus is our friend!
Jesus also called us 'family'. He made an astonishing claim - that God, the Creator of the Universe, was his dad! And he says that if we accept that as truth (among other things), then we can call Him 'Dad' too!
So we have our family and friends times on a Sunday morning. (just because that's the most useful time for our family group)
at 144 Drake Street (in the Lib Dem HQ - go upstairs from the side door - you will get a cuppa and a warm welcome!)
at 10.30am.
We meet at other times and other places but you need to call us on 01706 522443 to find out where and when!
When we meet we worship (we sing Christian songs together), meet with God, pray for each other, have some fun, listen to what God has to say to us, read the Bible, have a brew, chat to each other, then go home!
Our leaders are Iain and Margaret Wight, who have lived in Rochdale since 1975 and have been church leaders for nearly 20 years.
